Chrysoprase Turtle by Troy Sice Outlet Countdown Package

A striking green and navy blue streaked chrysoprase standing turtle carved by the fabulous Troy Sice in a standing upright anthropomorphic pose – looking towards its left side up at the viewer with pin point hand made Kingman Mine turquoise inlaid eyes. Troy has incised the lines on both the top and bottom shell. Indigenous people recognize the turtle as the symbol of Mother Earth – some Native Americans believe that the turtle contributed to creation because the turtle dove into the primeval waters to retrieve mud to create Mother Earth.
