Camino Verde was able to acquire and home over a thousand rosewood trees and plant the rare seedlings in a partnership with Brillo Nuevo, a native community of the Bora tribe found on the remote waters of the Yaguasyacu River. Now they are forging a sustainable future for this rare once-abused species while providing a meaningful income for proud, marginalized people.
